22 A Day

Help Us Combat Veteran Suicide in Johnson County

Every day, 22 veterans take their own lives. These brave men and women, who once stood strong for our country, now face battles that many of us cannot imagine. For too many, the scars of service linger long after they've left the battlefield, leaving them struggling with mental health challenges, and loss of hope.

The Problem

Transitioning from military life to civilian life is not easy. Many veterans face:

PTSD

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): Invisible wounds that make daily life overwhelming.

Lack of Support Systems

After leaving the structured environment of the military, many veterans find themselves without the support they need.

Homelessness

Over 37,000 veterans experience homelessness on any given night in the United States.

Unemployment

Finding stable employment can be challenging for veterans due to gaps in skills translation or employer understanding.

Without intervention, these challenges compound, leaving too many veterans feeling abandoned and hopeless.
